Hey! It's Haiku Friday!

My husband's job hunt
full of possibilities
anxiety, hope

Will we move or stay?
Should I clean the closets out
and get set to pack?

Lone Star State or here
those seem to be our choices
no contest for me

I yearn to be home
prickly pear and mesquite trees
coyotes, jack rabbits

Flat land stretching out
San Antonio, Austin
surely one of these

Bow your head and pray
That one little Texas girl
can find her way home

Oh, I so hope you get to move home. Are you from the A-SA area? Cause funny that we are job hunting, too. Houston or bust for us.

Nope, we're from Corpus Christi, but can't find anything down there to even apply for. San Antonio and Austin are as close as we can get.

I hope you get what you want! We just moved to Indiana, and while it's not home, it feels fabulous to be back in the midwest!

I hope you get your wish, Texas girl. I have never been to Texas, but I understand from some relatives that that means I have not yet been to the best place next to heaven. :)

Here's hoping you get your wishes granted really soon.

The largest part of me wants so much for you to find your way back home.

Then. There's that little part of me, in the back, that really knows how sad I'd be when you got that dream!

Still praying for you though!! I know what it is to yearn for something and not know when it would come about.

Peace!
