Show of Hands Please

This is shaping up to be an interesting and difficult week, a week of personal and spiritual growth.  With my brother in the hospital, my nephew living with us, the rest of my family, and interesting news from the doctor about #3....I have all of this great stuff to offer up and no one to offer it up for.   That's why I'm coming to you.  Who needs it?  This is some heavy duty stuff and could really be powerful prayer for someone.  If you need it, or know someone who does, let me know who and what and I'll offer it up for you, the readers and all your special intentions.  I have buckets-full of offerings...show of hands...who wants 'em?

Me, me, me! I've got a situation that is tearing my men's group apart and a friendship is on the line as early as tonight. Please offer one for me.

I'm going to be selfish. Me please! I currently have my 6th pregnancy with just 1 living child. The rest were miscarriages. Make an offering for me so that I can carry this child to term!

I will be praying for you and your family. I do have 2 requests for you, a friend, C, who has a marital situation full of abuse and financial abandonment. She is going to school, raising twins, and suffering the community gossip train due to her husband's bad legal choices. The other is a lonely friend, L, who grew up in a home where she was abused in every possible way and who at 41 has never found a positive relationship with a man that could treat her with love and respect. Thank you so much. May God hold you close during this time and always.

I am in tears at so much suffering and ashamed at my own petty complaints. I will offer my Rosary and daily struggles up for all these intentions.

Rebecca, I would love for you to offer some of your sacrifices for my neice, Cindy Marie, she is 18 and has had seizures since she was 3 months old. She is non-communicative and on so many meds that she seems trapped in her body. She is so very sweet and loving and please pray for her parents too because they have 5 other children and also homeschool. Also my other brother has an autistic son (Joseph), he is 12 and not getting much better and his parents also need prayers. Thank you in advance. Only in Heaven will we know how much we really need each other and how God can use these crosses for His good designs. -Loretta

Golly, there are a lot of needs out there. Good thing there's no end to sufferings to offer up.

There is a lady, "A" whose husband is in Iraq for this entire year. He left when their youngest was only a few weeks old and won't be back until December. She has no family in town and the stress of having the kids, 8 and under, all the time (homeschooling too) is wearing on her. If you could offer a tiny bit of your sufferings for her, I'm sure she'd appreciate it.

I'll be praying for y'all.

Please pray for little miss Attila-- she's got some mom-issues and is trying to do the right thing, but it's a long process.

This Cross I Embrace, Kaitlin (More Like Mary-More Like Me) and Living in Mazes definitely could use your prayers to conceive and carry a child to term. There are others, but lets focus on them for now. Thank you for asking!

Interesting how come I popped onto your blog but I guess it is God's will so here are some intentions brewing;
1. My friend is in major back pain and is due w/her 5th baby any day. she is not in back labor, she has had back pain all during this pregnancy. i worry how she will have strength to go thru labor. she is not sleeping, like maybe 1-3 hours a night at best.
2. 2 friends are also in back pain, so bad, they are on bedrest. they are not pregnant.
3. my sister, bro in law and their 3 kids left the Catholic Church to join the Baptist church. Enough said.
4. My brother to fall into Jesus' loving arms. He has been in 2 failed marriages. A son from his 1st marriage is 14 now. He is very selfish and finds no joy/peace in life, very depressed. Pray he does not commit suicide and that he wakes up! that he can find love and peace in JESUS! in CONFESSION! Please pray, please!
5. lastly, for me, my hubby and our children-that we can work effectively on sorting out discipline issues. we are thinking about canning school altogether for this year. restart next year so we cn work out these pressing issues. thanks.
6. Oh, one other thing-we may move and my hubby get a new job. pray that we see the light and HIS WILL and do it! THANKs

GOD BLESS YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!

No specific intentions, but I am going on a retreat this weekend as a team member, and would love to know some extra prayers were being said for the women attending. Thanks!
