Homeschooling Nerd

The assignment:  Compose a personal motto and translate it into Latin.

My son's answer: " Ubi est mea anaticula cumminosa?"  (Where is my rubber ducky?)

I think he gets an 'A' for that.

Although "Ubi mea anaticula cumminosa est?" might be better, as the verb should come at the end of the sentence! :-)

Eamonn-You are, of course, correct, but he's 10 so I'm going easy on him.

That's awesome!
Anonymous AKA My Mom: It goes: "Nomen meus Inigo Montoya est. Patrem meum occidisti. Compara morti!"
The last part actually says "Prepare for death!" I didn't know/couldn't find the word for die. :-P
