For the past 18 birthdays, it has been my absolute joy to share them with my love. He laughs and says that he knew he had to marry me when he heard we were born on the same day because he would never forget the date. Whatever the reason that he married me, I'm so glad that he did.
(Because our birthday is also the Mexican holiday the Day of the Dead, I thought this was an appropriate cake.)
Happy Birthday, my love! The best gift was the one from God, I got to wake up this morning as your wife. And how many people can say that? (It better be only me. Just sayin'.)
