3 1/2 Time Outs Tuesday - Food Porn

Helping LarryD take over the internet one meme at a time
While the Computer Guy is in Turkey, I'm taking the opportunity to radically change my diet.  I can easily cook kid friendly things for the children and experiment for myself. Yay experimentation! (It's what brings us tasty treats like fried broccoli!) While scouring the internet for healthy, I keep running across not.  Oh my so I love the not!

I pause a moment and stare at the screen, salivating just a bit.  Healthy may be better for my body, but my taste buds really want to eat

1.
Mexican Dorito Casserole
Chicken, Doritos, and creamy cheese sauce.  Perfection in a plate.  Did I mention the warm creamy cheese sauce?  I did?  Oh, good.

2.
A Thanksgiving turkey sandwich.
With the gravy dripping through the layers, making it warm and a little gooey so that you have to eat it with a fork.  Or, just lick it off the plate.  I don't judge.

3.
Bacon

Hot, crispy, bacon-y bacon.  Do you really need an explanation?  I didn't think so.

3 1/2.
I'm not even thinking about anything baked, but seriously.....I am just drooling to sink my teeth into anything with

I gained 3 pounds reading this post.

Stitch - that's the 1/2 of the "3-1/2". It's just half an entry. Your browser is fine.

Pretty much all of those are *good* for you, though probably not in the quantities desired... But there is always one's emotional and mental health to consider as well. ;p

I tell everyone about this book....Gwen Shamblin Weigh Down Diet. There is no good food or bad food, just overeating. She presents a biblical approach to honoring, idolizing God and setting aside your false idols, in this case food. Works wonders, eat what you want to but only when you're hungry. Quit when you're full and all in the name of loving God. Get her book, it's beautiful!

You're killing me! The Doritos I could leave or take (don't get me wrong, I'd like them), but the Thanksgiving sandwich and bacon. OH MY.
