#6 will be 3 at the end of the month and is still in diapers. It's not that he isn't capable, I just haven't wanted to mes with potty training him. It's a huge undertaking which requires us to stay home for an entire week, which means I had to wait for a suitable week when the other kids' plans were at a minimum.

Monday we went to the store and stocked up on undies, stickers, and a poster board to put the stickers on. Can I also admit, since I'm just telling you all the ways I'm a horrible mother, that I hate stickers? I do. Hate them, that is. They get left of clothes and sent through the wash. They get stuck on furniture and require superhuman effort to get the last of the sticky gunk off. I usually severely limit stickers to art paper and projects. THEY DON'T BELONG ON CLOTHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry. I just had to get that out of my system. #6 loves the dumb things and is thrilled to have his t shirt and potty chart covered with them. Ugh. Please don't let them slip past me in the wash.....

He's doing alright, I suppose. We're still at the part where he hasn't learned much and I've relearned all my skills with a kitchen timer. He'll get there eventually. I know he will. It will just take a few more days.
Stuck at home. With the cabin fever setting in.......

Can I just say that I absolutely agree with you 100% on the stickers! And my son has to go to physical and speech therapy every week in a hospital that virtually requires that every kid get at least 2 giant sticker to put on his shirt and more if the sticker ladies meet us at the elevators! Ugh...Okay, rant over. Thanks for making me feel like someone understands me.
My husband hates stickers too. I like them, but he despises them so much, it's not even worth it to have them around. lol GL potty training. I have 2.5 yr old and we've been trying but she's just not catching on so far. sigh. Potty training sucks.
A week? I'm jealous. We're at a week today and the end is no where in sight. I thought things were looking great at day four, then she peed on the floor.. several times.. and on my (not slipcovered) chair. So many highs and lows to this! Good luck!
The trick to stickers is KY Jelly. I kid you not. You put it on there, leave it a minute or two and the sticky just balls up and comes off. I am also jealous of the one week thing, of course I am trying to do two at once.
With one of my boys, I had to PROVE that diapers did not come in bigger sizes before he was willing to work on it. The good part was it only took a few days.
