Here we are, day one of shaking off the cobwebs and rediscovering the fun of being a girl! For the next 30 days (now until Valentine's Day) I'm doing away with my go-to messy ponytail or bun and trying anything but.
Day 1 - Flat ironed!!!!
I love it shiny and smooth, but wish I'd put on a bit of make-up before taking this pic. Sorry about the naked face.

You're beautiful!!! I never wear makeup, like EVER. Peter hates it, so its a no issue. Embrace naked face!!!
Today while I was trying to dump the frump, Ethan and Lulu had their first nail polish experience. It was awesome... Now I remember why I don't do my hair or makeup.

I would love to do this, especially since I just started working part-time and therefore should try to look moderately put together...
But it feels so impossible. I can either do my hair OR my makeup, but never both - and since my skin is still looking rather adolescent thanks to my nursing hormones, I choose makeup.
Which leaves my long super thick mane to be thrown up in a ratty bun nearly every day.
I'll be following your journey for inspiration anyway!
