It's Saturday--which means errands--which means I need my hair up and out of my face. I really wanted a ponytail this morning, but opted to try a scarf bun instead. I'm kinda digging it!

NICE!! Are these directions on you pinterest board too?
This is Abigail Benjamin--not Jon! I don't think he'll be looking with interest at your pretty hair board today. LOL!
no, but it was super easy.
Put the hair in a slightly off center ponytail. Tuck one end of the scarf through the elastic. twist the scarf so that it's not all floppy. (I can show you a picture of that if you want.) Twist scarf and hair up into a regular bun and pin it in place. You can tuck the ends of the scarf in or let them hang. Ta-da!
I don't think my hair is long enough for this.
what did your daughter use to dye?
we tried henna- it was semi-permanent and a decent color on my daughter but she is looking at a darker color- more like your daughter's color.
Elizabeth, it's permanent hair dye she had custom mixed. Ask the people at the beauty supply store for help.
